THE SCOREBOARD
Alright SYTYCD-FDLers, here’s what I’ve got for you. Right now it’s very basic. By clicking on a username you get the person’s picks compared to the actual show’s placings next to them. 99% of the work has just been math and plugging in everyone’s picks. I haven’t really spent any time on the look of this. But I have some plans for including more information like bonus totals, leader board, etc. I also want to link to all of your twitter streams from here.
Oh and please, please, PLEASE, double check your picks. It’s totally possible that I mistyped something. Rather than going over it a bunch of times, I figured everyone could lend a hand by listing any discrepancies they see with their own. You can just post it here as a comment. I’ll compare them to the email you sent me and make the changes right away.
For those who decided to start following others in the game, I just want to note that I had @sorano916 linked incorrectly in my last post.
Right now @LN84 is in the lead (She’s the only one to receive a 3 point bonus for guessing Paris in the pre-game challenge). She’s followed up close behind by @raelee and @BabsiS. I know @thayerf is totally pacing himself…
…cause at this point… it’s anyone’s game.

Holy crap. I totally expected to be in last place at this point. It helps that I had forgotten what order I put people in… Of course, I’m sure that I’ll fall behind quickly.
Nice work on the scoreboard, John. I don’t envy you the math that it took.

This is @thayerf (not @theyerf) – pacing myself is being nice – I’m not feeling lucky at this point. I was shocked to see Max go out so soon. BUT, I did pick Ashley & Max to go out the same week…just the wrong week. Interesting.

Ooops, sorry about that Thayer. For some reason I got it in my head that you were The Yerf. LOL. Anyway, yeah, I too had Max and Ashley going out the same week. I was surprised Max went home so early. But only because I never would have expected Kayla to be in the bottom 3 so soon. I imagined that the first time they did get in the bottom he would go. The Judges LOVE her and I think they’d like to see what she can do with another dancer. I also imagined that the first time Kopono and Ashley would be in the bottom she would go and he would stay… I should have gone with my gut on that, since I had a feeling they’d be in the bottom. Anyway, I think the Judges (Nigel) think that Kopono and Kayla as a team are going to be an impressive element of the show.

Wow, that’s a lot of work you’re putting in – all those numbers. Brain. Hurts. Overload..
And wow. I’m shocked. I just saw the results show. (Am I the lone Aussie in the FDL? haha, I’ll always be last to see results!)
I was SO.. sure Kupono was gone – I didn’t see Max going at. ALL. Wow. So sad Ashley’s gone! (She looked like Ashley Judd y/n?)

hey, Thayer- it’s ok, I’m “pacing myself” too.
I still haven’t seen the results show, but I’m totally surprised by what I’m hearing so far. I have a feeling I’m going to be out of the running pretty quick.

Wow, so many folks have Kayla, Evan and Phillip in the top four! Evan and Phillip have a ton of charisma and talent in their style, but I don’t think they’ll have the diversity to go to the top. Phillip was very… not good at the tango, and I think both of them will struggle with the sincerity of a Mia Michaels routine. Can’t wait to see how it all plays out.

Damn… all that looks like a lot of work. I hope that you got an Excel sheet. Anyways, I sent you a tweet between Wednesday and Thursday switching my picks, to Ashley & Kupono, from my original picks, Karla & Jonathan. I hope that I did that right. Heh..

ok.. so its a tad frustrating that i gotto wait until sunday ( 4 days after the USA to air) in order to see the next episode and i REALLY dont wanna be you0tubing stuff.. takes away from the feeling of “watching” the show.
so ummm.. now that we have people eliminated, do i get to move around my choices?? how does this work? i actually had max and ashley leaving the same week.. but not so early on!

@sorano916, You did do it right. And you received 0.5 point for getting Ashley correct. That brought your score from 16 to 16.5
@shadoukat, no, the way it works is that between the Wednesday show and the Thursday results show, you get an additional guess for who will go home that night. You get an extra half point for each that you get right. So the picks you made in the beginning are your picks all the way through… you can try to offset bad picks with the half point bonuses. I know that kind of sucks for players that live outside the US since YouTube is the only way to stay competitive. But who knows, your picks may end up doing very well.
@missgiggly, you aren’t the only Aussie. We’ve got @eirinn22 playing as well.
