Lostus Versus

Aww yeah!!! There you are, Lostie! Man, I was wondering where you ran off to… you crazy ridiculous show. You WTF inducing, little guy.

It sure is nice to have you home again.

I know a bunch of you are wondering what in the world I found so great about the episode. I imagine some of you are even thinking “Really?! They flat out said the Island was Hell, dude! Hell!! This episode was just one big reading from the book of Job! I thought you wanted spaceships, brother!” I mean, let’s be honest, this episode was almost completely devoid of any sort of satisfying logic.

But there’s no question, it has also drawn a clear line. in. the. sand. And it wants to know exactly whose side you’re on.

lost post outline

If you think I’m missing something big let me know in the comments and I’ll try to add it to the list.

Spaceship (I’m not even gonna use the word Lost in this title)

Okay, so I found this last episode pretty interesting. It didn’t blow me away, but there were some cool reveals. I like Sawyer as a cop. I like it a lot. I think it fits his character really well, given his evolution on the show… it explains his short interaction with Hurley on Alti-815… and even his behavior in the elevator with Kate. I mean, as a cop, he should have turned her in, right? But then he’d have to explain why he was at the airport coming back from Australia. A great blend of the self centered Sawyer and the do-good Sawyer. Anyway, I like this version so much that I kind of hope what we’re seeing here in the Alti-Verse is actually the truer “truth… that everything we’ve seen in flashbacks and flash forwards these past 5 1/2 season is actually the Alti-verse…. you know, a more miserable, dramatic, TV like version of their real lives.

Okay, maybe I don’t wish that… but I do wish something awesome or just plain jaw droppingly surprising.

The long lost Lost post

Man, am I fried. Been driving down to Santa Monica during rush hour almost every day this week. I’m working on a small project with friends at Demand Media which I guess doesn’t seem so small anymore. Writing, shooting, editing, animating… and of course, right in the thick of it, my car decided to start acting up. Seems to be the Crankshaft Sensor. I can’t even describe to you how awesome that is.

Anyway, it’s Saturday evening, and while I wait for some video to finish rendering on my other computer, I’m gonna take a bit of free time to sit down with some of my Lost thoughts… which actually do feel a bit lost to me, right now.

What was this episode about, again?

*staring off into space*
