Hey everyone! This is gonna be a short post. Just a quick holiday message.

To all the Larkers, the Lost lovers, general geeks, and Gilmore junkies who frequent these hall:

I just want to wish you and yours a very scary- oh wait, no, sorry… a very merry awesome… as well as a what I like to call an Old, Rusted Year that has been given a new lightning bolt paint job, a set of shiny chrome rims, and LCD screens in the seat backs.

I’ll be around on twitter and tumblr through the rest of the holidays, but I may be a bit quieter. Then when I return in January, I’ll have a partner in crime here at johncabrera.com. @raelee from Ramblings of a TV Whore and TV Times Three will be a guest blogger.

Winner of our recent So You Think You Can Dance tournament here, she’ll have Authoring access for one month at johncabrera.com… as well as the power to decorate the entire blog in a Care Bear theme if she wants. *gulp*

Regardless of the look, January’s gonna be fun here. We’re getting ready to return to the Island. I’ve got a few other web projects and posts planed (stuff I hope even the non Lost lovers enjoy). And, and, AND… I’m getting my wisdom tooth out on the 14th at 3pm!!! Like, it’s gonna be ripped out of my jaw with some sort of screwdriver like tool!!!!! Yes!!!!!! I mean, NO!!!!

So once again, Happy Holidays. And I’ll see you all on the other side of the decade.

Wow. This was a crazy end to it all. Russel like, what? Breaking his leg or something? Bizarre, huh?

But what did I tell you? The show is totally shot out of order… it’s not Live! That entire set of placement announcements was done at the very end of the taping. Otherwise, Russel would have never been able to do all the dances we saw him do throughout. I don’t think any season of SYTYCD will ever be able to match this one in terms of frayed seams… and sheer bad luck.

Larkers, it’s time to hit that big red button and detonate this tourney, cause we are going into the finals, guns a blazin. This Lark has gotten outta hand.

I’m here in Miami visiting mi familia, so I had to watch the episode late. Fun thing, though, was I got to watch it with my mom, a total first. Her favorite piece was, funny enough, the robot dance. Which I loved for it’s robotica, sure… but I think you all can guess which dance was my fav. And I’m not ashamed to be following the crowd on that opinion, either. And I owned a Tamagotchi in the mid ninties.

The pity vote. It happened. Nobody’s proud of that fact, but it did. Ashleigh is going through to the finale. And Mollee, who gave her best performance of the season was… as my dad would say, “dropped like a banana”.
