Podcast 1

As my capper to this extraordinary month of blogging (well, to me really), here’s my first ever… podcast.

It’s not much. Sort of a template for how future episodes might sound. I used Griffin iTalk on the iPhone and the supplied iPhone headphone mic. It worked nicely, I thought.

So, there’s my voice. At the least it should give you an idea for the speaking tone of my written posts. I write almost every one by talking them out loud. Seriously. They sound pretty much like this.

LOST with my Left Foot On Red

My thoughts on this week’s Lost? Not many. But I did enjoy the episode much more than last week. That’s largely because Terry O’Quinn is amazing and Locke episodes are solid as a rock… especially when he has an emotional meltdown. Makes me wanna give him one of my kidneys.

INTERESTING BIT OF TRIVIA I GOT FROM ONE OF HIS OLD COLLEGE BUDS: Terry O’Quinn can improvise in iambic pentameter. That’s not a joke.

I was disappointed with the lack of Island stuff this week, but the little we did see was really cool… although Locke’s Grim Reaper costume at the beginning was a bit strange. Right?

Taking Care of Business

Man, I’m bubbling!

Great day. Finished working on the show Numbers tonight… a really fun little scene with Aya and Ali. I’m eager to see how it turns out.

Numbers.

I’m still in the middle of my shoot week on Without a Trace, and I have to say, I was so pleased by the energy on both sets. Things moving along at a snappy pace but still a freshness to the work. Friendly crew and actors.

Typically shows with long runs develop this nice family bond. It was one of the best things about working on Gilmore Girls, and I can definitely feel it on both of these shows.
