Hey everyone, I’m doing some design changes to my blog. So if you arrive and see some strange formating mistakes, headings in the wrong place, broken links or images… that’s just me screwing something up. It’ll be in its final shape soon.

I’m also simultaneously working on some other website stuff. I know I keep saying it’s coming… but it’s coming.

I now present to you the new HD version of The Man Who Invented the Moon. Just like Affair Game this one has gone through another pass of color treatment and a few extra bells and whistles were added. Super Amazing’s outfit is brighter, Eddie’s beard is bushier, and Sean’s performance has gotten a touch more boomastic-mister-fantastic. Check it at the door.

UPDATE: So it seems as though Vimeo’s encoder didn’t play nice with my video. The audio starts going out of sync around halfway through the movie. Reading their forums it seems to be an occasional bug with their video encoding software. I’m in the process of reuploading it to Vimeo now. So hopefully this will be resolved in the morning. Sorry guys.

UPDATE: Okay we’re back up. I’ve checked this version for any audio sync problems, and there doesn’t seem to be any.

So I’m still in the process of getting all of my videos uploaded for the new version of unboiled.com. For those not following my Twitter stream, my production computer died on me. Turns out it needs a new Flux Capacitor… damn!… Damn damn! So I won’t be able to work on the site again until this weekend.

BUT, I should take this opportunity to give a shout out to The Computer Doctors. Hands down the BEST place to take your computer for repair here in LA, PERIOOOD. Nicest bunch of guys, super affordable, fast turn around. I have to get an entire Mother Board replaced… They said they could have it back in my hands in two days!

My friend Lee told me about them a couple years ago. He’s actually turned a few of our friends on to them. I remember he was so excited about The Computer Doctors that at the time I wanted to pour coke all over my laptop just to take it to them for repairs…. seriously…. The Computer Doctors.

Holy Christmas! I just noticed this! A REMAKE of the music video I directed last year! I can’t tell you how flattered I am. I couldn’t stop smiling.

I spent months watching our video OVER and OVER and OVER while we were in post production. I thought I’d become completely numb to the concept… but watching this I felt like I was experiencing the story for the first time. Thank you.

I think this was their film school project. Great job, guys!
